INDY FOP SPEAKS IN FAVOR OF PROPOSAL TO HIRE 155 IMPD OFFICERS

On Wednesday, 02/18/2015, the President of the Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police, Rick Snyder, spoke before the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Committee regarding Proposal 22 which funds up to 155 new IMPD police officers in 2015. President Snyder was joined by members of the FOP Executive Board and the President and members of the Retired Police Officers Association. The Committee subsequently passed the proposal with a unanimous bipartisan ‘Do Pass’ recommendation. The proposal is scheduled for a vote by the full City County Council on Monday 03/02/2015 at 7 pm.
